Spray foam survey in Swindon
Before we price anything, we come and look. The survey is free and there's no obligation to book.
What we check
- The type of foam. Open-cell or closed-cell, which affects how long removal takes.
- How much there is. We measure the roof area covered.
- The membrane. Whether there's a breathable membrane or felt under the foam, and its condition.
- Access. The size of the hatch, the headroom in the loft, and the route out of the house.
- Signs of trouble. Water staining, damp, or anything else visible around the edges of the foam.
What you get afterwards
A fixed price in writing, a rough timescale, and a plain explanation of anything we've found. If we think removal isn't the right answer for your roof, we'll say so.
An independent survey
Our survey is to price the removal. If you want an independent opinion on whether the foam needs to come out at all, the Property Care Association keeps a register of surveyors trained to assess spray foam, who don't do removal work themselves. That's a sensible step if you're not selling or remortgaging and aren't sure you need to act.
